Is Johnny Depp about to be in high water?
His former business managers are counter-suing the star and claiming that his lifestyle that costs more than $2 million a month are responsible for his recent financial troubles.
The Management Group filed the counter-suit in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, only around two weeks after Depp sued the company saying they had grossly mismanaged his earnings. He is suing for $25 million that he contends was mismanaged.
In their lawsuit, the group says Depp paid more than $75 million to buy and maintain 14 homes and also spent his money to buy a 150-foot yacht. The lawsuit also said he used hsi money to fly on private jets and cultivate collections of fine art and Hollywood memorabilia requiring 12 storage facilities to maintain.
“Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today,” the lawsuit stated.
