Harvey Weinstein’s Lawyer Asks Court to Throw Out Sex Case

Film producer Harvey Weinstein has been alleged of sexual misconduct by numerous women this year.

The Hollywood notable’s attorneys have asked the court to toss out a sex case, explaining that the grand jury should have been told about emails from one of his three accusers.

One woman who accuses Weinstein of raping her in 2013, has sent a message that shows appreciation for “all you do for me.” Another message had said, “it would be great to see you again.”

Weinstein has pleaded not guilty to the rape charge and to sex charges involving two other women in Manhattan.

His lawyers have argued that the grand jury that indicted Weinstein should have been told about emails from the woman.
