One of the most highly anticipated boxing fights just took place over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada between Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Conor McGregor.

The fight has been called the “Fight of the Century” with the cheapest tickets going for well over $1,000 according to CNBC.

Maywether, who started in Michigan, owed much of his success to his grandmother. He said, “I think my grandmother saw my potential first,” he told the NY times in 2006.

According to contract details from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Mayweather earned a disclosed purse of $100 million from the fight.

McGregor took home $30 million, according to ESPN.
