Florida Man Kills His Son While Playing Video Games

We all know how easy it is to get caught up in a video game, but sometimes it would be better to just turn the game off.

31-year old James Dearman has pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter of a child. The child was his very own son, Jimmy.

Dearman faces up to 20 years in prison and has a hearing on July 28th.

According to a sheriff’s report, Dearman used his weight to pin the boy to the couch where he was playing video games. He was playing with his girlfriend, 22-year-old Ashley Cole.

The couple eventually realized the boy wasn’t breathing and called 911.

His girlfriend Cole has also pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter of a child.
