Ashton Kutcher Just Admitted To Doing This After Divorcing Demi Moore

On a panel at the Airbnb Open 2016 in Los Angeles this past Saturday, Ashton Kutcher, who is an investor in Airbnb, made a surprising admittance.

He said he lived in Airbnbs for a year after his divorce from Demi Moore.

Airbnb is an app and website that helps people find lodging with renters who have listed their personal houses, apartments, guest rooms, and other living quarters on the platform.

“I went to Europe and I flew in and got in in the middle of the night,” he said. “I arrived at the Airbnb at 2 a.m. The person had left me dinner and a glass of wine.”

Kutcher told CEO Brian Chesky, who is also a friend, that it was the kindness of a stranger that changed his perspective on human relationships.

“It was … the magic and the love that I needed in that moment,” he said. “I was shocked that someone would care that much about a total stranger.”

Kutcher today is married to Mila Kunis and has a child with her as well as one on the way.
