Young children committing suicide is incredibly tragic, but when they livestream it, does it get any sadder?

A 12-year old girl committed suicide in late December and live-streamed her hanging outside of her family home.

She alleged that the reason for her suicide was because she was being sexual abused by a family member.

Katelyn Nicole Davis hanged herself on Dec. 30th in front of her home in Cedartown, Georgia. After she killed herself, twenty minutes of silence aired on the video with background noise revealing her name being called and her family looking for her.

According to Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd, police have been investigating Katelyn’s family since before her death.

In a blog post on Dec. 27, Katelyn alleged that somebody had attempted to rape her, Dodd told the Journal.
No arrests have been made at the moment.
