Vegetarian Chicken May Soon Be Coming to KFC

While some fast food chains have been fighting it out over fresh patties, some restaurant goers have been more concerned about whether they can get meatless options at their favorite fast food joints.

Kentucky-based KFC has heard their demands as the place known for its fried chicken is testing out vegetarian fried chicken.

According to Foodbeast, KFC would be offering the very first vegetarian fried chicken offered by a big-name quick-service chain.

The company is testing the product first in the UK.

While there have not been many details released, KFC will be using its secret blend of 11 herbs and spices on the new product.

KFC UK told Foodbeast that it is still working on the recipe and that the product will launch sometime this year.
