Papa John’s to Remove It’s Founder’s Image from Marketing Materials After Racial Slur

Papa John’s founder John Schnatter has been in hot water this week after it was revealed that he said the N-word during a conference call earlier this year.

The former CEO of the company has apologized and has stepped down from being chairman of the company.

According to The Associated Press who cited a source familiar with the situation, the company is now reportedly removing his image from all of its marketing materials.

Top executives made the decision but no timing of when they will be removed has been said.

Schnatter, who owns a 24 percent stake in Papa John’s, still remains on the company’s board.

Schnatter also argued that “Colonel Sanders called blacks n—–s” and never faced any public backlash at KFC.

Papa John’s said on Wednesday that it “condemned “racism and any insensitive language”.
