Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone Never Did This Before!

Apple just posted their highest quarterly revenue ever on Tuesday, as well as the tech giant’s iPhone’s biggest quarter ever.

Q4 earnings for Apple proved the holiday season was a success for the company. Apple saw revenue at $78.4 billion while the Street expected $77.4 billion. Earnings per share came in at $3.36 verses expectations of $3.21 a share.

The company sold 78.3 million iPhone units while expectations were only 76.3 million.

“We’re thrilled,” said CEO Tim Cook. “We sold more iPhones than ever before and set all-time revenue records for iPhone, Services, Mac and Apple Watch… and we are very excited about the products in our pipeline.”

Shares cruised higher in after hours trading after the company reported.
