Apple (AAPL) And Twitter (TWTR) Partner Up On Something Huge

On Thursday, tech giant Apple announced several updates for Apple TV, and they were not shy about how confident they are about Apple TV taking over.

“Now with the TV app, there’s no reason to watch TV anywhere else,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The new Apple TV app is set to launch this December and it will allow users to easily browse content via categories, such as Movies or TV Shows.

Users will even be able to ask Siri to bring up programming by telling her what you want to watch.

Another big announcement is that Apple will be bringing Minecraft to the app, which has sold over 100 million copies to date.
The big partnership with Twitter is what may really make Apple TV stand out.

Live tweets can be integrated into programming. While you watch TV, a Twitter stream will appear on the right.
