It’s no secret that Walmart and Amazon are competing against one another to gain more customers. Amazon just did a big move that could help woo more customers to its online marketplace.
For awhile now Amazon has offered free shipping but with one stipulation, that you purchase $35 of merchandise or more. The online retailing giant has decide to slash this figure by $10.
Now the website reads that online orders of $25 or more, featuring eligible items of course, qualify for free shipping.
So why is this a fire at Walmart? Because it was just in January that Walmart announced two day shipping for orders over $35.
Amazon has not made any comments about the move but the company is usually quiet when it drops shipping prices.
