Microsoft Making Big Changes With 365

Posted on

Microsoft has announced that in their fall update they will be providing users with unlimited devices on Office365 Home and Personal subscriptions.

The company previously has had limits on both Home which was a 10-device limit, and Personal had only a 2-device limit. This will allow users to enjoy the amenities of 365 on multiple devices no matter where they are at.

Another change is within the Home accounts, boosting the users from 5 to 6, and each user having 1TB of cloud data storage. This is a big deal being that they are giving users an extra license for someone else to be on their subscription at no extra cost.

Once you’ve set up your subscription, and designated your family members, they will automatically have access to all the Office365 software.

Microsoft has not announced why they are making these changes, but it is clear they will be making plenty of people happy. Since it will be affecting almost 30 million subscribers, and more than 120 million users. It was already a great deal at the start, but with this change alone we could see them gain millions of more.

(NASDAQ: MSFT) shares have gone up 0.2% to $112.26 after this announcement.
