Trump Just Named A Fast Food CEO To Head The Department Of Labor

Andy Puzder is the CEO of CKE Restaurants, which operates both Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s fast food chains. Now his future role is going to be the head of the U.S. Department of Labor.

Puzder, who has been quite vocal about not liking a higher minimum wage, is also a critic of government regulation of the workplace. What a great choice, Mr. President-Elect.

Puzder has argued that higher minimum wage would hurt workers because it would force restaurants to close. This man will no wbe in charge of the United States’ largest labor agency, which regulates wages, and safety and discrimination in the workplace.
