London Explosion During Rush Hour Leaves Many Injured

An explosion at London Tube station on Friday morning during rush hour, is according to authorities, indeed a terrorist attack.

The London Ambulance service has said that twenty tree people went to the hospital for non-serious injuries. Injuries included burns and injuries related to the stampede as travelers tried to escape. According to The National Health Service, nineteen of the people had been taken to the hospital while four showed up on their own.

According to police, the home-made bomb which exploded at 8:20 a.m. on a packed train heading into the capital, had injured 29 people.

This is now the fifth terrorism attack to happen in Britain in 2017.

The city’s Mayor Sadiq Khan had asked everyone to be “calm.” He wrote on Twitter, “The @metpoliceuk have confirmed that the explosion on a train at Parsons Green Station is being treated as terrorism.”

President Donald Trump tweeted himself and said, “Another attack in London by a loser terrorist.These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!”
