Life Clips, Inc. (OTCBB: LCLP) Offers Something That GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) Doesn’t Have

Thanks to GoPro, the camera market, especially action cameras, has been on fire these last couple of years. The worldwide action camera market grew 44% in 2014, reaching 7.6 million units, with a retail value of $3.2 billion.

Life Clips, an innovative brand of products revolutionizing the way people capture, manage, enjoy, and share life’s moments, could be soon giving GoPro some stiff competition.

The company recently placed its initial order of its new 4k Action Camera the SoluVu™.

LCLP’s SoloVu™ has several key features that competitors like GoPro do not come standard with, such as; an internal gyroscope for greater image stabilization, built in motion detection for activation, and a 16 mega-pixel image camera.

The SoloVu™ also will come with video options of 4k, 2k, 1080 and 720, and will come with a 32GB memory card. SoloVu™ will additionally feature burst mode, time lapse & looping video modes.

According to Futuresource Consulting, the action camera market is likely to see growth in unit sales and revenue through at least 2019.

CEO Bob Gruder Said, “We are coming out of the gate swinging. We aim to aggressively compete with companies like GoPro by offering comparable or better features at a far lower price. The SoloVu™ will retail for $159.00 which is significantly less than the leading brand. What we have here is a feature and option rich product with a quality and a price that should be extremely attractive to consumers. We are not putting the cart before the horse, we are currently in the advanced stages of conversation with some of the nation’s largest distributors and big box retailers. We anticipate having a great roll out of this initial camera product. We hope to have several more exciting models releasing this year as well.”
