Hurricane Matthew is expected to be a deadly Category 4 storm and is about to swoop in on around 11 million Floridians who are in its path.

According to CoreLogic, many will evacuate and there are almost 954,000 that are at risk of major storm surge damage. Homes that have a reconstruction value of just more than $189 billion. When you add the states of Georgia and South Carolina, the sum rises to more than $200 billion.

CoreLogic’s analysis is only measuring the damage just from water and does not assess additional damage from wind. Hurricane Matthew is expected to bring winds of up to 125mph in some places.
