Donald Trump Urges Journalists To Call Sean Hannity

The Presidential Debate aired last night, and wow, did it deliver. Many were eager to see how republican nominee Donald Trump would answer on key topics, such as taxes and terrorism. Many people were left wondering who Sean Hannity is and why did Mr. Trump want the press to get a hold of him.

Debate moderator Lester Holt put Trump under the spotlight noting that records showed he initially supported the war in Iraq. Mr. Trump vehemently denied this and urged the press to call Sean Hannity for his thoughts on what the candidate really thought about invading Iraq before the war started. Hannity is a Fox News host and is also close ally of his campaign.

“I did not support the war in Iraq,” Trump said at the debate. “That is a mainstream media nonsense put out by her,” referring to Democratic candidate and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

The claim was that before the war started, when asked by radio personality Howard Stern whether he supported the potential U.S. invasion, Trump replied, “Yeah, I guess so.”

“Everybody refuses to call Sean Hannity!” he said at the debate. “I had numerous conversations with Sean Hannity at Fox. And Sean Hannity said — and he called me the other day and I spoke to him about it — he said, ‘You were totally against the war,’ because he was for the war.”
