Posted on

Fans have anxiously been waiting for Disney’s Star Wars-themed land to open in the Disneyland theme park and the Walt Disney World Resorts. This is the place where visitors will be able to fly the Millennium Falcon in a secret mission, so no wonder fans are getting anxious.

A new image was unveiled on Monday, giving fans an idea of what is to come. The image on the fence along Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland depicted the Millennium Falcon in the distance at a docking bay. The docking bay is surrounded by a forest with futuristic buildings and landing pads.

This is Disney park’s biggest expansion ever and is part of a $1-billion upgrade effort at the resort. We’re talking 14 acres of land here with aliens and droids.

Disney officials haven’t announced when the project will be open to the public. This means this new image will have to tie us over as we fantasize about what’s to come.
