According to Adobe Analytics, Cyber Monday is expected to pull in $6.6 billion in sales.

This figure would be a lot higher than the $5.6 billion that was generated a year ago and makes this year’s Cyber Monday headed for the biggest internet shopping day ever.

As of 10 a.m. EST on Monday, sales were at $840 million, up 16.9%.

The company also revealed that this year’s smart phone sales were doing a lot better with revenue jumping 41% over last year.

Last year shoppers spent $7.9 billion in total with Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales and a lot of it was done on their mobile devices.

Adobe’s data is measured by 80% of all online transactions from the top 100 U.S. retailers. For every $10 that is spent at the top 500 U.S. retailers, $7.50 of it is through the Adobe sales platform.
