Britain Has Left The EU And It Could Be Catastrophic

Britain’s historic Brexit vote, also known as the EU referendum, just took place and the result was shocking.

The referendum allowed Brits to vote on whether Britain should leave or remain in the EU. There was a surprising surge in votes for the island to reset itself as an independent nation.

Why is this ultimately so shocking? No other country has ever left the UA.

Former Europe minister and Labour MP Keith Vaz, told the BBC: “Frankly, in a thousand years I would never have believed that the British people would have voted this way.”

“And they have done so and I think that they voted emotionally rather than looking at the facts. It’ll be catastrophic for our country, for the rest of Europe, and indeed the world.”

Subsequently the British pound has sunk to a 31-year low and stock market futures have crashed. Economists are now anticipating a recession in Britain.

Leader of the UK Independent Party, Nigel Farage, has claimed a victory for the Leave campaign and commented, “Let June 23rd go down in history as our independence day.”

“We have fought against the multinationals, we have fought against the big merchant banks, we have fought against big politics, we have fought against lies, corruption, and deceit.”
